About Us
Non Gamstop Casinos is an independent research and comparison site for UK adults who want to understand casinos that operate outside GAMSTOP. We explain how these sites work, what their bonuses really require and where the risks sit, so you can decide with the full picture in front of you. This page sets out who we write for, how we assess operators, how the site is funded and what we can't tell you.
Commercial disclosure
We may earn a commission if you register with an operator through a link on this site. That relationship does not decide rankings, and commission does not buy position. The list of casinos we feature is supplied by the publisher, and we write our assessments of it independently. Where we say something is advertising, we label it as advertising.
What we do and who it is for
Our readers are adults aged 18 and over, mainly in the UK, who are researching online casinos and comparing features and terms. Some know a lot about gambling. Many don't, and we don't assume they do. We explain licensing, wagering requirements and withdrawal restrictions in plain English.
We cover:
- casino bonuses, including welcome offers, deposit bonuses, free spins, no-deposit offers, cashback and loyalty rewards
- wagering requirements, game contribution, maximum bet rules, expiry dates and cashout limits
- payments: debit cards, bank transfers, e-wallets, cryptocurrency, fees, currency conversion and GBP accounts
- withdrawals, verification checks and how disputes are handled
- games such as slots, jackpots, live dealer tables, blackjack, roulette and baccarat
- sports betting, esports and the tools around them
Our main comparison is on the page Non GamStop Casinos: Best Online Casinos UK.
Legal standing: what "non GamStop" means
GAMSTOP is the national self-exclusion scheme for online gambling in Great Britain. Casinos licensed by the UK Gambling Commission must take part in it. A non GamStop casino is one that does not, which usually means it holds an overseas licence instead. Accepting British customers is not the same as being authorised to serve them under British rules.
This has real consequences. Overseas licences vary in what they require, and the protections may be weaker than those under UK Gambling Commission rules. Complaints may not be open to the same routes, and GAMSTOP exclusions will not apply to these sites. Great Britain and the wider UK are not the same for regulatory purposes, so check how a rule applies to where you live. If you have self-excluded, these sites are not a workaround. Please read our responsible gambling guide first. Support is available from GamCare, and blocking software can help if you want to restrict access.
How we assess casinos
We have not claimed to have deposited, played or withdrawn at any casino. Our assessments come from reviewing each operator's published terms, licensing information, payment pages and advertised features, and checking them against the information available to us. We checked the information on this site on 30 September 2026. Bonus terms change often, so always re-read the current terms before you sign up.
We separate three kinds of information:
- Confirmed: details we have verified against an operator's own terms or an official source
- Advertised: claims a casino makes about itself, such as headline bonuses, which we report but don't vouch for
- Unresolved: points we couldn't verify, which we say openly
The criteria we weigh are:
- licensing and who owns and runs the casino
- bonus fairness: wagering, game contribution, maximum bet, expiry and cashout caps
- payments: GBP account availability, minimum deposits, fees and currency conversion
- withdrawal limits, processing times and verification requirements
- game range and software providers
- sportsbook features where offered
- customer support and complaints procedures
- responsible gambling tools such as deposit limits, loss limits and self-exclusion
What our ratings mean
Our scores are editorial ratings. They are not customer-review scores and they don't predict your experience. A high rating does not mean a casino is completely safe, and nothing on this site guarantees withdrawals or winnings. Headline offers such as Betmica's 570% up to £5,700 plus 270 free spins, or Kikibet's 350% up to 5,555 £ and 300 free spins, are advertised figures. Large percentages usually come with wagering requirements, and some offers are shown in euros or dollars, so conversion costs may apply. Read the terms beside any offer before you deposit.
Limits of our work
- We can't verify every term in real time, and operators can change them without notice.
- Payment methods and features, including PayPal and cryptocurrency, may not be available to UK customers. Check before you sign up.
- We don't offer legal or financial advice.
- Gambling is not a source of income or a way to solve money problems.
